The recently released trailer for The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 during the Nintendo Direct at E3 has given new life to the debate about weapon durability within the game. Many claim it was a huge turn off for them causing them to struggle to enjoy the game or to not even play the game at all. Even fans of the game who enjoyed it have said it’s the one thing they wish was not in the game. With the sequel on the horizon, fans are taking to Twitter and other avenues to “vote” in a sense, for the feature to not be present in the next game. Ultimately, given what we have seen of the Hyrule map, it is unlikely the feature will be removed. I want to talk about why it won’t be removed, but also… why it shouldn’t be.
